I’m a writer first, YouTuber second. I create educational videos as part of my life’s mission to put good information into the world through storytelling.

I have a BA in Political Science and an MA in Political Communication. After finishing graduate school at American University in 2019, I worked five years as Senior Press Officer (Social Media) at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany. I developed politically sensitive content in the voice of German Ambassador Emily Haber, including posts on the War in Ukraine, Holocaust Remembrance, White Rose Resistance, World War II, Berlin Airlift, Operation Valkyrie, Fall of the Berlin Wall, death of US political figures, commentary on international affairs, and domestic tragedies. I even created a mini-doc on the 30th anniversary of German Reunification that was mentioned on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives.

I’ve been creating content on YouTube since 2015. My content is history-focused, and often contextualizes current events through the past. I’ve covered American History, German History, the Haitian Revolution, Taiwan’s History, UK Affairs and Brexit, local Washington, D.C. History, Ancient Greek History, Russian History — on and on it goes. My curiosity is wide so my subjects are too.

In 2023, I worked with the Truman Library Institute to create a video essay for the 75th anniversary of President Truman’s desegregation of the US Military; for this I interviewed Associate Professor of History and African American Studies at Duke University, Adriane Lenzt-Smith, A.J. Baime, New York Times Bestselling Author, and Clifton Truman Daniel, honorary Chairman of the Truman Library Association and eldest grandson of Harry Truman. The project resulted in a White House Press Pool badge to see President Biden’s address on the historic occasion.
